About Me
design has always fascinated me.
The ability to create new spaces that will surround people as they live, work, heal, and play has always struck me as an amazing and significant thing. It's an often underutilized opportunity to better the world around us and improve quality of life through physical space. As designers, we have the unique ability to affect the way people interact with the world on a daily basis, often in ways they don't even notice.
In particular, I am fascinated by the ways in which design and the physical environment have the power to heal. That is what I most love to do - create spaces that are beautiful and comforting, but also incorporate evidence-based components that truly allow for healing, whether that be physical, mental, or spiritual. All the moving parts and details that are involved in creating a space that is beautiful and functional challenge and excite me every day.
I channel this passion into my everyday work. I am a team player and greatly value working on a team with multiple perspectives. I am diligent with any task I am given and will always give my best effort before asking for clarification or assistance if I need it. I am always looking for new challenges and opportunities to improve my skills! I think a positive outlook is important, so I do my best to look on the bright side of obstacles that inevitably come up.
When Iām not working, you can find me in a corner somewhere absorbed in a book, working on my latest knitting project, or out eating some delicious food with my friends.
